Planned hotel and casino resort will support local job growth, attract tourism, and contribute to infrastructure improvements in Central City.
CENTRAL CITY, Colorado (July X, 2025) – G3 Gaming, the strategic development team behind the proposed Gregory Gulch Resort, today announced the submission of its Preliminary Planned Unit Development (PUD) application to Central City. The application marks an early but significant milestone in the vision to create a new resort-style hotel and casino destination in Central City. The development team has also formally selected Denver-based OS Architects to lead the architectural design for the project.
Planned for a currently underutilized site between Gregory Street and Lawrence Street on the east side of Central City, the Gregory Gulch Resort is envisioned as a true hospitality destination. Early concepts include a 600-room hotel, modern casino, restaurants, meeting and event space, a spa and pool deck, curated nightlife and up to 120 workforce housing units. The resort will also feature a pedestrian-friendly environment and a proposed urban park.

The project is being designed in alignment with the 2020 Central City Comprehensive Plan, which emphasizes the importance of economic development, infrastructure investment and historic preservation. In addition to the hotel and casino components, the project will include road upgrades, utility improvements and other infrastructure enhancements.
